James Waldron, of Finavon Street, had sentence deferred until November 20. Waldron admitted driving a car while disqualified on Pitkerro Road, Longhaugh Road, Lothian Crescent and The Hazels, on October 6. Solicitor Alexandra Short told the court Waldron took the decision to get in his car and pick up his son, while knowing he was disqualified. Sheriff Tom Hughes remanded Waldron, commenting that there was a high risk he would reoffend. The sheriff said: “The only reason I’m not locking you up today is because I’m obliged to get reports.” This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
