Kyle Lenard, 22, of Albert Street, had sentence deferred until November 28.
Lenard admitted speaking aggressively to his partner Chloe Chalmers on Lawton Terrace and uttering threats to harm himself, striking his head against a wall, striking himself with a roof slate and attempting to harm himself with a roof slate, all on September 5.
He also admitted using a car without insurance on Lawton Road and Strathmore Avenue on September 4, as well as behaving aggressively by shouting, swearing and uttering offensive remarks.
Lenard further admitted behaving aggressively in a court room at Dundee Sheriff Court by shouting, swearing, headbutting a glass partition and struggling violently with G4S officers Lynn Gray and Brent Anderson, on November 23 last year.
