Steven Tosh, 26, of Maitland Street, was placed on a four-month curfew.
The sentence was imposed after Tosh sent offensive messages to a woman in which he was repeatedly abusive and threatened to expose intimate pictures of her.
The offences took place on various occasions between January 15-19.
He also sent indecent text and video messages to another woman, shouted, swore and used offensive and abusive language.
