A man followed another man in a car while shouting threats of violence at him.
Brian Tolmie, 29, of Durham, was ordered to carry out 130 hours of unpaid work after admitting aggressive behaviour.
Tolmie admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by approaching Dylan Boyd and shouting, making threats of violence and following him in a vehicle at Longtown Road on September 10 last year.
