A 29-year-old man allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat and repeatedly punched her in an attempt to rob her in her own home.
Allistar Montague, 29, a prisoner at Perth, will stand trial on November 19.
Montague denies assaulting Dorothy Whyte by grabbing her by the throat, threatening her and repeatedly punching her on the head and body, to her injury, at a property on Buttars Road, on April 15.
He also denies again assaulting her by repeatedly punching her on the head and body, brandishing a pair of scissors at her and threatening to stab her with them, to her injury, at a property on Pitalpin Court, on the same date.
And he denies aggressive behaviour by cutting his own arms and face with scissors, also at a property on Pitalpin Court, on the same date.
