A woman has denied assaulting another woman by throwing a glass at her and attempting to gouge her eyes during a fight in a city centre pub.
Samantha James, 30, of St Leonard Road, St Mary’s, will stand trial next month.
James denied assaulting Danielle Pryde at The Abode in St Andrews Street on July 15 this year.
James is accused of throwing a glass at Ms Pryde which struck her on the head.
She is accused of lunging at her, grabbing her by the hair and thereafter lunging at her again, struggling with her and striking her on the body, all to Ms Pryde’s injury.
She is also accused of attempting to gouge Ms Pryde’s eyes.
Trial was set for November 7 at Dundee Sheriff Court.
An intermediate diet will take place on October 30.
