A pensioner will stand trial over claims he crashed a car after falling asleep at the wheel.
Kenneth Melvin, of Dunmore Gardens, allegedly drove dangerously on Riverside Drive on March 22.
It is alleged the 86-year-old drove a car dangerously by failing to keep his vehicle under proper control, falling asleep while driving and causing his vehicle to collide with another car driven by Bethany Miller, causing damage to both vehicles.
A plea of not guilty was tendered on his behalf and trial was fixed for January 9 with an intermediate diet scheduled for December 13.
