Hollie Rodgers, 31, pleaded guilty to committing the offence on various roads throughout the city on July 26. She admitted driving without a licence and while disqualified on Balfield Road, Harefield Road and King’s Cross Road. Rodgers, of Staffa Place, also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid insurance policy on the same roads on the same date. Prosecutors accepted a not guilty plea to a charge of driving without a test certificate. Solicitor Jim Caird said Rodgers had been “somewhat naive” but Sheriff Simon Collins warned the seriousness of the matter should not be forgotten. Sentence was deferred until October 24 for reports.
