Man who stole bike awaits sentence

A bike thief will have to wait until October to discover his fate.

Lindsey Sloan, 37, of Happyhillock Road, had his sentence deferred at the sheriff court.

Sloan admitted stealing a bicycle from a property on Dundonald Street on March 9 this year.

He also admitted having heroin, a Class A drug, in his possession at Fairbairn Street on May 4.

Sentence was deferred until October 17 for reports.
