A man has been fined after being caught driving a car while eating at the wheel.
Thomas Mullen, 36, of Craigie Drive, was fined £300 and disqualified from driving for six months.
Mullen admitted driving a car at Clepington Road while not having proper control of the car, in that he was eating food from a container using a fork and using both hands to do so, did not have either hand on the steering wheel and repeatedly swerved across the road, on April 9.
He further admitted driving a car while using a mobile phone, at Tullideph Road, on June 29.
