John Birtles, 21, of Strathmartine Road, wilfully and recklessly damaged the door of a flat on Patons Lane by striking it with a hammer on August 19. The court heard previously that Birtles had gone to the property looking for his ex-partner as she had lived there. Sentence was deferred until October 15 for a psychiatric report.
