A woman who assaulted her partner had sentence deferred for reports at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Emma Naismith, 28, of MacEwan Drive in Inverness, admitted punching Gemma Gordon, seizing her by the hair and pulling her to the floor before repeatedly punching her on the head and striking her on the head with her knee while she was on the floor.
The assault took place at South Victoria Dock Road on April 2, when Naismith also admitted striking a TV belonging to Ms Gordon and breaking it.
Naismith also admitted breaching a bail condition by failing to appear at court on July 10.
Sheriff John Rafferty deferred sentence until October 11 for reports and she was ordained to appear.
