A man has been banned from driving after crashing his car into other vehicles and two walls while over the legal alcohol limit.
Darren Kelly, 35, of Balunie Crescent, was placed on a restriction of liberty order for four months and disqualified from driving for 19 months.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Sheriff John Rafferty also told Kelly he must sit the extended test before he can drive again.
Kelly admitted driving with excess alcohol (80 mics), almost four times the limit, at Balunie Crescent and Balunie Drive on May 27.
He also admitted that at the same locations on the same date, he drove dangerously and caused his car to collide with another car, mounted the footpath at Balunie Crescent, collided with a wall at a driveway, collided with another car parked there and caused it to collide with the wall, reversed his car and drove off the footpath, collided with a wall whereby it collapsed and struck the bodywork of two other cars, and at the junction of Balunie Drive and Ballindean Road, collided with a road sign.
All vehicles, walls and the road sign in the charge were damaged in the incident, Kelly admitted.
Sheriff Rafferty told Kelly he must remain in his home between 7pm-5am.
