A man has been jailed after breaking into a Dundee bakery.
Peter Winks, 37, of Dunholm Road, was jailed after being found guilty by a jury of breaking into the premises and stealing cash.
Winks was found guilty of, on March 13, while acting with another, breaking into the retail premises owned by Clark’s Bakery, Craigowan Road, and stealing £334.
Following evidence the jury took only 15 minutes to return a unanimous guilty verdict on Winks.
Sheriff Tom Hughes told him he had committed a serious offence and a custodial sentence was inevitable.
He added that he understood the accused accepted that.
Sentence had previously been deferred by Sheriff Hughes, who jailed Winks for 18 months.
