Alexander McLanders, 36, a prisoner at Perth, admitted that on June 8 this year he broke into the Fairuz Takeaway Shop on Panmure Street and stole a till tray containing approximately £80 in cash and a paper bag containing approximately £20 in cash, while on bail.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond ordered McLanders be returned to prison for the 27 days unexpired portion of his previous sentence and jailed him for a further 365 days.
