Shaunn Gallacher, 29, of Laird Street, previously admitted that on April 21 this year, at Mauchline Avenue, he was concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Sentencing Gallacher at Dundee Sheriff Court, Sheriff Alastair Carmichael said: “Because of the amount of cannabis you were found with, this falls into the custodial zone, which means I have to consider a custodial sentence, but I also have to consider options as well.
“You don’t have any other convictions, and in the circumstances I can just impose a community payback order of unpaid work in the community.”
Gallagher was put under supervision for two years, and given 200 hours of unpaid work.
