A woman has been jailed after admitting three charges.
Chelsea Jones, 25, of St Mungo Terrace, asked to be given a custodial sentence rather than a community-based one, to give her a chance to deal with her personal problems.
She admitted that on April 24, on Grays Lane, she assaulted PC Daryl Platinga by kicking him.
She also admitted assaulting PC Claire Murphy by spitting towards her and attempting to butt her on the head.
Jones further admitted driving a car on Lochee High Street without having insurance in place.
She was sentenced to 10 months in jail by Sheriff Derek Reekie.
