An Angus man who drove his car at more than 30mph above the speed limit has been fined.
Calum Farquharson, 25, of Clayhills Gardens in Birkhill, admitted that he drove at 73mph in the 40mph zone on the A930 Dundee Road West in Broughty Ferry, near to Stannergate, on July 15.
He was fined £230.
Meanwhile, motorcyclist Andrew Monro, 32, of Rosefield Street in the West End, was fined £166 after he pleaded guilty to riding at 70mph in a 40mph zone on Dundee Road West, near to Margaret Crescent in Broughty Ferry, on July 14.
