Glen Robson, 28, of West Grange Walk, Monifieth, admitted that on July 14, at Strathbeg Place in Broughty Ferry, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner.
He pleaded guilty to a charge stating her shouted and swore, demanded entry, acted aggressively while in possession of a knife and a pronged cooking utensil, repeatedly struck a door with a knife and his hands, causing damage to it and to a glass panel, while on bail.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond deferred sentence for good behaviour until February 2 next year.
