Michael Purvey, 37, of Hepburn Street, was jailed for 14 months by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael after he admitted the offences. He admitted possessing a knife at Mains Road on May 23 this year without lawful authority. Purvey also admitted driving in Mains Road on the same date while unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
