A man who assaulted his former girlfriend by holding her against a wall will be sentenced in October.
Alexander Shepherd, 37, of Foundry Lane, had sentence deferred for social work and a psychologist’s report.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Shepherd admitted breaching his bail condition by entering Gardner Street on August 5 when banned from doing so by the order.
He also admitted that on July 9 this year, at a flat in Gardner Street, in the Coldside area of the city, he assaulted his former partner Rebekah Moorehead by placing his arm across her shoulder and restraining her against a wall and struggling with her.
Sentence was deferred until October 3.
Shepherd was also ordered by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael to engage with the Mentoring for Men project.
