A man has appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of assaulting his partner to the danger of her life.
Thomas McLean was remanded in custody by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael on a petition alleging that on August 9, 2018, at Dalfield Court, he assaulted Nicola Jackson, placed his arm around her neck and restricted her breathing, rendering her unconscious, to her injury and to the danger of her life.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody while the case was continued for further examination.
