Simon Robertson, 36, of Americanmuir Road, had sentence deferred by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael at Dundee Sheriff Court after he admitted assaulting two police officers with a baseball bat.
Robertson admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, shouted and swore and threatened Ashley O’Neil with violence at Hoylake Place on October 5 last year.
He also admitted that he assaulted PCs Daniel Young and Darren Smith by brandishing a baseball bat at them at Americanmuir Road on the same date.
Sentence was deferred until September 5 for reports and a restriction of liberty order assessment and Robertson’s bail was continued.
