Tasleem Mohammed, 35, of Arklay Street, was placed on a community payback order under supervision for a year and given a three-month restriction of liberty order, between 7pm and 7am.
She admitted that between August 22, 2015, and May 19 last year, at Arklay Street, she failed to disclose to the DWP that she had returned to full-time education and was in receipt of student income, and obtained benefits of £8,496.37.
