A man accused of assaulting his partner and threatening to kill her will face trial in October.
Artur Modzelewski, 38, of Buttars Place, denies that last Thursday, at Myrekirk Terrace, he assaulted Alicja Ladwik, seized hold of her and pulled her to the ground, straddled her, placed his hands around her neck, choked her and threatened to kill her. His trial at Dundee Sheriff Court was fixed for October 11 with an intermediate diet on September 20.
Sheriff Alistair Carmichael granted him bail on the special conditions that he does not enter Myrekirk Terrace and he does not approach or contact – or attempt to approach or contact – Ms Ladwik.
