Alexander Shepherd, 36, of Foundry Lane, had sentence deferred until Friday.
Shepherd admitted that he breached a bail condition not to enter Gardiner Street by being there on Sunday.
The court heard police received a telephone call from Shepherd’s former partner saying he was on the street. They attended within minutes and apprehended him.
Solicitor David Duncan said that Shepherd understood he was “foolish in the extreme”.
