Callum Ramsay, 19, of Brook Street in Broughty Ferry, had sentence deferred for good behaviour after admitting shouting and swearing at his mum.
Ramsay admitted that on May 16, at a house in Broughty Ferry, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, repeatedly shouted and swore at Gillian Ramsay and a 10-year-old child and uttered threats of violence.
Sentence was deferred by Sheriff John Rafferty for four months, until December 5.
