Joseph Marshall, 36, of Pitalpin Court, will stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court next month on a charge of slashing a man with a knife.
Marshall denies that, while acting with another, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, repeatedly shouted, swore and made threats of violence and possessed a knife at Birkdale Place, Troon Place and Scotscraig Grove on August 27 last year.
He also denies that, while acting with another, he assaulted Alexander Martin and struck him on the head with a knife to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement at Birkdale Place on the same date.
His trial was fixed for September 6.
