A man who admitted attempting to butt a female police officer had sentence deferred until August 29 for reports and a restriction of liberty order assessment.
Daniel Murphy, 23, of Charleston Drive, admitted that he assaulted PC Lianne Gilbert while he was resisting arrest by her and her colleague PC Christopher Tawse and that he lashed out with his arms and legs and struggled violently at a property on High Street, Lochee, on April 8.
