A car thief asked to be banned from entering Dundee to prevent him returning and committing more crimes, the sheriff court heard.
Richard Rattray, 32, of Barbieston Road, Dalrymple, admitted that he stole a car on Drumlanrig Drive on Saturday and also possessed cannabis on Huntly Road on the same date, while on bail.
His bail was continued until August 24 by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael and he was placed on special conditions not to enter the city.
