Alan Campbell, 55, of Fleming Gardens South, had sentence deferred after admitting being aggressive towards his 81-year-old mother in her home.
Campbell admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm and shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner towards Antonia Campbell at Fleming Gardens South on May 15.
Sentence was deferred by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael until August 23 for reports and a community payback order update.
