Paula Higgins, 47, of Dickson Avenue, had her sentence deferred after she admitted acting in a racially-aggravated manner towards a woman.
She pled guilty to causing or intending to cause alarm or distress to Diman Abu Bakir, engaging in an argument and making a racial remark towards her at a common close on Fleming Gardens on February 1.
Sentence was deferred until August 15 and Sheriff Alastair Carmichael continued bail.
