A man is to stand trial accused of assaulting a child at a primary school.
George Tosh, 44, of Court Street, denies that he assaulted the child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, seized them on the body, pushed them on the body and uttered threats of violence to the child at Victoria Park Primary in Glenagnes Road on May 9.
He also denies that he acted in a threatening or abusive manner in that he repeatedly shouted, swore and uttered threats of violence and behaved in a threatening manner at the same location on the same date.
Trial was fixed for September 19, with an intermediate diet to be held on August 28.
