A convicted rapist, who is aiming to clear his name, has had his appeal date set.
James Fearn, 71, was jailed last year for the repeated rape and sexual assault of three children between the 1970s and 1980s in Dundee.
It was revealed in April that Fearn, a former Dundee City Council employee, would be appealing his conviction at the Court of Criminal Appeal in Edinburgh.
Lawyers will now present his case to judges on September 27.
He targeted his first victim in the 1970s by raping the youngster.
Thereafter he continued to have sex with the child on various occasions.
Fearn then repeatedly sexually assaulted his second victim over the course of several years.
His third victim was repeatedly sexually abused over three years.
Fearn, of Arklay Terrace, had denied the allegations but he was found guilty by a jury at the High Court in Edinburgh last year.
