A murder accused has had his case continued once again.
Charles Little, 31, is charged with the murder of Gordon Diduca in Dundonald Court, off Arklay Street, last September.
Numerous mental health assessments have been carried out on Little with no plea or declaration made on his behalf.
Little was being detained at the State Hospital at Carstairs but will now return to HMP Perth.
He returned to the High Court in Glasgow today where defence counsel Mark Stewart QC said that he wished to have further discussions with the Crown about how the case should proceed.
He said: “The position going forward is that the advocate depute and I have been in constant dialogue.
“We are still at one in that it would helpful for us to have a meeting to discuss this further.
“It is my understanding he will be returning to custody in the prison system.”
Little is alleged to have threatened occupants of a flat at Dundonald Court with a bow and arrow, repeatedly striking the front door and attempting to force entry to the property on September 24.
He is further accused of that in communal landing at an address in Dundonald Court, he assaulted 24-year-old Mr Diduca, Jason Sinclair and Colin Hughes, threatening them with a bow and arrow, and repeatedly firing arrows towards them.
Little is also alleged to have then repeatedly struck Mr Diduca on the body with a knife and murdered him.
He is also alleged to have struck Mr Sinclair with a knife.
A further preliminary hearing was fixed for until August 23 at the High Court in Glasgow.
