George Forbes, of Airfield Sawmill, Errol, admitted driving on Cardean Street on March 15 without insurance for his vehicle. The 79-year-old’s licence was endorsed with six penalty points and he was disqualified for a year and fined £400. Forbes was told his fine would have been £575 but it had been discounted because of his early plea. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
