A man had his community payback order revoked by Sheriff Alastair Brown.
Kevin Devlin, 28, of Burnside Court, admitted he had breached the order by not complying with social workers on his unpaid work programme.
Dundee Sheriff Court was told Devlin’s health was poor and he had given that priority over his order.
He was placed on a new order and told to complete 200 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to begin payments towards a compensation order of £300 to his victim, which had been put in place previously but which he had not paid.
The original order was imposed for the assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement of Marcus Syme on Court Street North on May 2 2015.
