A man has been accused of embezzling almost £3,000 from a barber’s shop.
William Hill, 37, of Greenholme Avenue in Morecambe, denies that he embezzled £2,800 at McKellan Barbers in High Street, Newport-on-Tay, while in employment there between February 25 and June 9 last year.
His trial was fixed for September 20 with an intermediate diet on August 30.
Hill admitted failing to appear at a court hearing on May 31 and sentence on that matter was deferred until August 30.
