A man has admitted alarming his ex-girlfriend by banging on her front door and windows and following her in his car.
Christopher Bowman, 33, of Viewmount in Forfar, was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work by Sheriff Tom Hughes at Dundee Sheriff Court as part of a community payback order.
He admitted that, at Balunie Avenue, on September 6 last year, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm and repeatedly banged on the front door and the windows.
He also admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, exited his car and approached Shelly McDonald, shouted, swore and followed her in his car at Baluniefield Road on November 22 last year.
