A Dundee woman will face trial next month on charges that she assaulted two young children.
Shauni Devine, 26, of Balunie Crescent in the Douglas area, denies seizing one of the children and throwing the child against a couch, to the child’s injury.
Devine further denies she assaulted another child on the same occasion.
Prosecutors say that Devine committed the offence by slapping the child on the head.
Both offences are alleged to have been committed on April 18 at a property in Dundee.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Sheriff John Rafferty was told both the defence and the Crown were ready to proceed to trial.
The sheriff continued the case until the trial diet on July 12.
