A Dundee man has been found guilty of supplying class A drugs worth nearly £900,000.
The conviction of Dane Carroll, 28, was welcomed by Police Scotland.
Carroll was found guilty of supplying cocaine worth an estimated £405,000 and heroin worth about £480,000 in Dundee.
Detective Inspector Stewart Forsyth, of the organised crime and counter-terrorism unit, said the conviction would send a message to other dealers.
He said: “This significant recovery of controlled drugs and convictions of those responsible sends a strong message to those who deal drugs in our communities.
“Dundee has been in the spotlight recently due to the number of drug deaths in the city and Police Scotland are determined, in conjunction with our partners, to rid our communities of the heartache and suffering caused by the supply of class A drugs.”
Ex-soldier Carroll, who has a previous conviction for possession of drugs, will be sentenced later.
