A 36-year-old man was placed on a community payback order under supervision for a year and ordered to undertake 130 hours of unpaid work
Gary Middleton, of Chirnside Place, admitted at Dundee Sheriff Court causing his former partner Lynne Robertson fear or alarm between January 30 and February 2 by making numerous unwanted telephone calls to her, attending her home on Robertson Street unannounced and making derogatory and abusive remarks towards her and attempting to contact her friends and family against her wishes.
He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, attending Ms Robertson’s home and repeatedly striking her door with his body and shouting through the letterbox at her at the same address on February 19, while on bail.
