A man has appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with assault and robbery with a knife.
Scott Taylor, 33, of Charleston Drive, appeared before Sheriff Alastair Carmichael on a petition alleging that he assaulted David McManus by presenting a knife at him, demanded money and robbed him of £30 at Charleston Drive on May 31.
He is also alleged to have possessed a knife and at the same place on the same date.
It is further alleged that he assaulted Lynne Cowan, presented a knife at her, demanded money and attempted to rob her at Dee Gardens on June 2 and possessed a knife at the same place on the same day, while on bail.
Taylor made no plea, and his case was fully committed for trial. He was remanded in custody.
