A man who drove while twice over the alcohol limit, and made homophobic remarks to police officers while resisting arrest, had sentence deferred until next month, at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Cameron Clarke, 25, of Balunie Avenue, admitted that on May 2, on Camperdown Road, he drove having consumed an excess of alcohol (44 mics).
He further admitted that on the same date and place he resisted arrest by constables Mark Craig, Ross Fraser and Nichola Fotheringham, struggled with them, lashed out with his arms and exited a police vehicle, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, acted aggressively, shouted and swore and made homophobic remarks to the officers.
Sentence was deferred for reports until July 13.
