A 22-year-old man has been ordered to pay compensation totalling more than £400 to two shops in the city from which he stole goods.
Graham Kyle, of Scott Street, admitted that on July 6 last year, at Boots on Albert Street, he stole items of medical equipment.
He further admitted that on July 10 last year, at Maplin, Kingsway West Retail Park, he stole a quantity of electrical equipment.
Kyle, who was on bail at the time of the offences, was ordered to pay Boots £99.99 and Maplins £309.99 in compensation.
He further admitted that on January 23, on Court Street, he stole a TV set.
Sentence on that matter was deferred until September 11 for him to be of good behaviour and for other matters calling at Dundee Sheriff Court on that day.
