A drink-driver who failed to comply with his community payback order has been jailed for four months.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard Frederick Thomson, 40, of Brownhill Place, went to work rather than attending meetings, breaching his order twice.
He had been placed on the payback order after admitting driving with excess alcohol (100 mics) on Kingsway West and Myrekirk Road on May 9 last year, while on bail.
He also admitted driving without insurance on the same date on the same streets.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond told Thomson: “I’m not giving you any more chances, there seems to be no alternative to a custodial sentence so I am going to revoke the order.
“You’ve made no effort to complete the order and this is your second breach.”
