Man jailed for stealing from Dundee Lidl

A man has been jailed for seven days after he admitted stealing from a supermarket in Dundee.

Mark Warren, of Adamson Court, had previously denied that on December 1 last year, at Lidl on Dura Street, he stole food.

However, he changed his plea to guilty and was sent to prison.

The sentence was ordered to run concurrently with a custodial sentence Warren is already serving for an unrelated matter.
