Desmond Marr, 46, of Dochart Terrace, admitted that on July 12 last year, on Long Causeway, Perth, he drove a car with bald tyres. He also pleaded guilty to driving the vehicle while it had a faulty handbrake. Marr further admitted driving the car without holding a full driving licence and without insurance. Not guilty pleas to two charges, one of pretending to be another person, and the other of driving the car without an MOT, were accepted by the Crown. Sentence was deferred until December 5 for Marr to be of good behaviour. He was disqualified from driving in the interim by Sheriff John Rafferty.
