A man is to stand trial on June 21 accused of running off with a child in a buggy and abandoning it on a street in Tayport.
Connor McGowan, 23, of North Wellington Street, Dundee, denies that on December 15 last year, at Ogilvie Street and Harbour Road in Tayport and on roads in between, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner towards a woman, repeatedly shouted and swore and uttered offensive remarks at her.
McGowan is also alleged to have grabbed a buggy containing a child from the woman, run away with it and abandoned it on Harbour Road.
He also denies that he assaulted the woman and robbed her of a mobile telephone and a bank card at the same places on the same date.
