A man who stole sewing equipment from a car while on a restriction of liberty order had sentence deferred.
Robert Brand, 29, of Craigmore Street, admitted that on June 2, at Balmuir Road, he entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a textile machine and shock absorbers.
Brand was on a restriction of liberty order when the offence was committed.
A not guilty plea to a further charge of acting in a threatening or abusive manner was accepted by the Crown.
Sentence was deferred until June 29 for reports.
